Hmm... what is the purpose of "downgrading"?
May be...
1. more students can get 1st class and their ptptn can become scholarship?
2. to standardize with other universities?
3. syllabus are getting tougher?
4. etc...

what ever it is... its a good news for students. Hope they score better.
