After almost one year scribed to the Streamyx, just recently i realized something.
Why i was so careless until never notice that until 2 weeks ago. Well, cant blame others actually. huhu

2 weeks ago i logged in my streamyx modem router. It has no special purpose but just to explore how does the interface of the router look like. But then suddenly something caught my attention.

The bandwith allocated to the router!
WTH! Why its only 512kbps downstream and 268kbps upstream???
I subscribed Streamyx 1Mbps package, and i had paid for it monthly for almost 1 year!
Why streamyx is doing like this? Do they missed configured it? or they intentionally allocate lower bandwith to me? Was that a technical problem? Or is my router not showing the correct figure?

I asked one of my friend about this and he said that i should complain this to streamyx. I should get i had paid for! huhu. I went to the TM Point and complained this at the customer service.
The complain Number is : 1-36486646630. hahaha... She said "adik, nombor komplen ni simpan elok2, nanti kami akan call adik."

Today is the 9^th day since i made the report, but still haven't receive any call from TM, or they might had called me when i was not at home. huhu. or they are too busy to layan me. well, i still can wait, but i'll call them tomorrow to update my complain status.

Nasib FTMK: Victory is ours!

Dekan memberi tahu bahawa FTMK tidak perlu pindah ke kampus bandar.

ahh~~~~ wat a relieve...

kita berjaya.

FTMK akan berpindah!
bukan ke kampus bandar tapi ke kampus tetap.
Cuma kita perlu berkorban sedikit utk memberi sedikit ruang kepada fakulti lain untuk sementara waktu.
Saya tak kisah, haha. Janji kita di tempat kita sendiri.

Meeting pengurusan tertinggi UTeM sudah selesai.
Dekan FTMK kata belum ada keputusan rasmi yang dibuat setakat ini.
Dekan kata mereka kini sedang menimbangkan 2 option yang ada.
Option apa tu? Jawapan Dekan: "Sorry, cant disclosure the options"
Maka tiada keputusan rasmi lagi sama ada FTMK akan pindah ke kampus bandar atau tidak.
terpaksa menunggu meeting seterusnya.
huhu...
menanti lagila jawapnya...

01-08-08 Penentuan Nasib FTMK
Pengurusan Tertinggi UTeM akan bermesyuarat pada 01-08-2008 jam 10.00am untuk membincangkan dan membuat keputusan sama ada FTMK akan berpindah ke kampus tetap atau kampus bandar.
Rata-rata pensyarah dan pelajar FTMK tidak mahu berpindah ke kampus bandar, maka pada mesyuarat itu, dekan FTMK akan membawa 2 petisyen bantahan berpindah ke kampus bandar. (satu dari para pensyarah dan satu lagi dari para pelajar) untuk the final battle. Para pensyarah mengemukan 14 alasan manakala para pelajar 17 alasan untuk tidak bersetuju berpindah ke kampus bandar.

Walau apa pon keputusan pengurusan tertinggi UTeM, semua warga FTMK terpaksa akur dan terima, sebab itu memang arahan tertinggi yang perlu dipatuhi.

Tapi semua memang mengharapkan pihak pengurusan tertinggi UTeM akan menimbangkan alasan-alasan tersebut dengan sewajarnya dengan mengambil kira keperluan pelajar. Hak pelajar tidak harus dinafikan juga.

marila kita sama-sama berdoa agar keputusan akan berpihak kepada FTMK. Tidak kira apa pon, FTMK kene berpindah dalam masa terdekat ini, semoga perpindahan itu adalah ke kampus tetap, bukannya kampus bandar.

if FTMK have to be in city campus

IF, FTMk is really fated to move to city campus, what should the students ask from the university?
i) pejabat bendahari must have their branch at the city campus.
ii) bahagian pengurusan akademik need to have their branch there too.
iii) FTMK student's hostel must be in the town area near to city campus.
iv) a library for FTMk students at city campus.
v) a dedicated network for FTMK in city campus. (taknak melalui proxy utem yg lambat)
vi) enough labs as planned in the main campus building.
vii) all lecturers should travel to city campus for lecture. (means students doesnt need to go to main campus)
viii) only FTMK should be there, others pegi main campus. haha
ix) dont blame FTMK students if they dont join any programs in main campus since its too far...

if all these request are fulfilled, then city campus will be jajahan kerajaan FTMK. haha.
if in the future UTeM is known through city campus and not the main campus, the management should prepare for it. Haha
