Yeah, this post is specially dedicated to all of you lurkers! :) Btw, do you know what does lurkers means?

Lurkers are those who read blogs passively, meaning that they just read blogs but rarely participate by not leaving any footprints (comments).

Hey lurkers,
Come on, just tell us anything about yourself. Where are you from, what do you do.. and maybe you can tell a bit about who you are. You can always know me through the About Me page, you know.

Why you should comment? Well, if u have your own webpage or blogs, u can put up your link here too. Perhaps other blog readers may give some hit on your webpage too. Who knows..! Well, if you are still hesitant to comment, maybe i can give you some tips on what to write:

* How long have you been lurking here
* How often you visit
* How you found this blog
* Why you return for more visits
* Include a blog/ webpage of your own

And if u wanna have privacy, u can always stay Anonymous! Put a fake e-mail on the comment form and use whatever nick you want. Start writing your comment and just hit the Submit button. Its that simple :)

Oh, by the way, I found more tips for lurkers here. Maybe these can give you some rough idea on what to write on your comments.

1. Don’t worry about offending the blogger. In this blog, you can write anything. Feel free to let me know if you disagree with me or hate me. I will probably spend a night crying and a few days writing blog posts about it, but give it to me anyway.
2. Just say hello! I have said before that even a two-word comment (with a smiley at the end) makes my day. I’m sure I’m not the only blogger who will drop everything just to respond to a comment.
3. Don’t worry about language or grammar. Feel free to comment in any language you are comfortable in. Most bloggers are not particular about grammar (you can see proof of this in my writing!)
4. Want to stay anonymous? If you’re shy about commenting here because you have a secret crush on Sushi my Shaolin Shih-Tzu, just use an alias as a name and a fake email address.
5. You don’t have to impress anyone. Be yourself so that everyone can get to know your personality.
6. Leave out links in your comments. Adding a link into your comment could get your comment flagged as spam.
7. Copy your comments to your clipboard before submitting. Some blogging platforms require some sort of human validation. If you fail the validation, you might have to re-type your smart and witty comment all over again!
8. Be consistent! When you leave comments regularly, the blogger gets to know you and includes you as part of their audience.
9. Try starting a blog. Before I started blogging I was a blog lurker, but after I started blogging I was commenting like crazy. I guess ‘being’ a blogger gives me that sense of belonging. Don’t forget to leave your blog address!
10. Be tactful. This might seem to contradict tip #3, but keep in mind that certain people are very touchy towards certain sensitive subjects.
11. Read other comments to sense the ‘mood’ of the place. You don’t want to sound all bright and cheery in a blog about someone’s depressions.
12. Comment at the correct posts! I remember once I commented at the wrong post. How embarrassing!
13. Try not to post multiple comments! Before you hit that Submit button, make sure you have said all you have to say. The exception is if you are replying to the blogger’s reply to your comment.
14. Email the blogger instead. You can submit a private comment if the blogger has posted an email address on the blog.

Don’t get overwhelmed with this long list of items. Don’t be underwhelmed either. Just be… whelmed. I hope this helps to remove any uncertainties you have about commenting.

At this blog, I just want you to remember tip #2… just say hello!

And yes, if you are one of those regulars you can comment too. If you run a blog as well, I think it would be a great idea to get to know some of your lurkers too. Who knows, perhaps you known each other?

So, lurkers, regulars.. please leave a comment. Say anything about anything here. Express yourself. I’m thrilled and looking forward to know you!
